Featuring British Olympian Jazmin Sawyers, this campaign was shot in London and produced by Great Guns. Skincare TVC Director Sam Faulkner directed the TV commercial, capturing Jazmin’s strength and energy as she shared her personal skincare experiences as an athlete. With her intense training schedule and constant exposure to the elements, her story added depth to the messaging around Olay’s Regenerist Cream.

Following the commercial shoot, Sam also photographed the accompanying beauty stills for the print campaign, ensuring the visual consistency of Jazmin’s vibrant and authentic presence across all media. The stills appeared in various beauty and lifestyle publications, highlighting Jazmin’s glowing, healthy skin and reinforcing Olay’s message of skincare that supports an active lifestyle.

Olay Whip SPF: TVC & Print

Lady Leshurr

Rapper Lady Leshurr stars as the face of the campaign for Olay’s Regenerist Whip SPF cream, bringing her trademark charisma and authenticity to the project. In the ad, she confidently reminds viewers, “Girl, it doesn’t matter what colour your skin is. We all need SPF in the summer.” The campaign made waves as it marked a significant moment for Olay, being the first to feature a Black British musician as its ambassador.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, with audiences praising Olay’s move to address a wider range of skin tones in its skincare messaging. Lady Leshurr’s candid delivery and natural presence helped to connect with a younger, more diverse audience while reinforcing the importance of inclusive beauty. The campaign’s impact extended beyond skincare, setting a new standard for representation in the beauty industry.

Sam Faulkner directed the TV commercial, capturing Angela’s vibrant personality and natural charm on camera. Following the TVC shoot, Sam also photographed the beauty stills for the accompanying print campaign, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across both mediums. The stills were used in a variety of beauty and lifestyle publications, highlighting Angela’s glowing complexion and the product’s benefits. This dual role allowed Sam to create a unified visual narrative that enhanced the brand’s messaging.

YouTube star and comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg is the face of the latest TVC and social campaign for Olay’s new Vitamin C cream. Known for her witty humour and relatable personality, Amelia brings a fresh energy to the campaign, appealing to a younger, digital-savvy audience. Unlike previous Olay campaigns, this one was created as a digital-first campaign, with the stills and video content primarily used across social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok to reach a wider audience. The focus on digital content reflects the shift towards engaging consumers directly through online channels, making the most of Amelia’s strong presence and influence in the digital space.

Working with production company Great Guns, Skincare TVC Director Sam Faulkner directed the TV commercials for Olay’s Face Anything campaign, celebrating diverse beauty and encouraging women to embrace confidence. Alongside the TVCs, Sam also shot the accompanying print campaigns, which have been featured in Vogue, Grazia, and other leading fashion and lifestyle magazines.

The campaign’s visuals—both in print and on screen—capture the strength and individuality of each woman, reflecting Olay’s ethos of empowerment. By taking on both roles, Sam ensured a cohesive aesthetic across all media, seamlessly blending still photography with his work as a skincare commercial director. This integrated approach highlights Sam’s ability to move fluidly between fashion photography and skincare commercials, creating impactful visual storytelling.
